Vincent van Nimwegen

Before founding 42windmills, Vincent worked for several software companies over the last 15 years. Started in sales he moved to product marketing and later also to project management and general management. In his last position he was a board member of a Dutch ISV. Within 42windmills, Vincent is responsible for general management, business development and marketing. In his spare time he likes running and riding his motorbike.
Marc Remmers
Founder/ CTO
Marc has over 15 years of experience in software and internet. He started his career at the Dutch Ministry of Defense as the Program Manager for the millennium project. After that he made a switch to Product Manager at a process management software company. More recently he lead the R&D at BusinessBase (a Dutch ERP software company). When not inventing new 42windmills concepts he likes to play drums. Strangely, he also believes Paul is dead (don’t click here).
Christien van der Walle
Sales Director
Christien has an extensive background in IT, business processes, sales and marketing. Both as a manager and as an entrepreneur. Her true believe in starting every successful solution with people and processes rather than technology is a perfect fit with 42windmills. She is responsible for the commercial success and for setting up a sales network. Even in her spare time she likes windmills considering her passion for the country of Don Quijote.
Sander Kouwenhoven
Lead developer
Sander has been writing code since he was 10 years old. He graduated from the University of Amsterdam. Within 42windmills he works on all aspects of the platform and maintains the overall architecture of it. He was the main developer of the Silverlight Application Designer. In his spare time Sander is an avid boardgame player and collector. He is married to Mirjam; fortunately, she also likes boardgames.

Todor Kyosev
Windows Azure specialist
Todor graduated Plovdiv University in Bulgaria and is a Utrecht University master student now. He has gained his experience in software development from several international industry-leading software products. He is responsible for 42windmills platform improvements and its Windows Azure compatibility. During his holidays Todor loves to travel through the Bulgarian mountains since we don’t have any here.
Dennis Wethmar
Developer
From a very young age Dennis was interested in computers, especially games. He studied Application Development and then Software Engineering. As a developer Dennis works on a variety of customer projects. Other interests are longboarding, playing and developing video games, Scandinavia and going out in Haarlem (is that possible?!).

René van Erk

René has over 20 years of experience in software and internet. He worked for eight years at Microsoft, mainly in Asia and the US. Prior to that he was part of the Open Systems Movement at OSF, later merged into The Open Group. More recently he lead the product- & business development (including M&A) at Wolters Kluwer Europe and founded IntelligentInnovation.Online and ISVWorld.
Slinger Roijackers
Board of Advisors
Slinger is an assistant professor at the Department of Information and Computer Science at Utrecht University. His research focuses on software product management and software ecosystems, with a strong entrepreneurial component. He received his PhD in computer science from Utrecht University, based on the work entitled “Customer Configuration Updating in a Software Supply Network”.
